Professional Development

A Physics PhD and research in nuclear astrophysics prepares students and postdocs for a broad range of careers. The skills acquired when performing independent research are transferable to other sectors and are often times quite unique. Nuclear astrophysics at FRIB, within the IReNA and CeNAM centers, further enhances this skill set through conference, workshop, and school experiences in an interdisciplinary, international, and collaborative environment.
